Our first port was in Nassau, Bahamas. The weather was perfect and that was probably the only enjoyable part of the Bahamas. Beaches looked nice from a distance and in pictures but not the best to walk bare foot on since there was glass everywhere. Now the water was very blue and clear. I guess to enjoy more of the island you would want a car or spend time on Paradise Island across the water. Nice but a bit too expensive once you got there because you had to pay for just about everything. We did enjoy a nice walk and browsing the shops.
