Running of the Okinawians

This video was actually taken last year, but we came across it the other day and had to share. It's a bit shakey but you can still see how funny the locals are when a flea market opens up on-base. I've heard that it is much more crazy than this at other locations where the crowd is larger. Flea Markets happen just about every weekend, each at different locations. To us it is like a huge yard sale of different booths but for the locals it seems like a much bigger thing, as you can see in the video clip they must rush in to buy the oh so amazing American goods. We are lucky to have the chance to shop around before the gate opens to the locals. I don't know if you can see it very well but there is a guy at a dead run while holding his kid.

That video is hillarious. We lauged when we heard Chris, or at least i'm sure it's chris, say "that guy is carrying his kid." Even the old people are kicking it in high gear. That's funny. I guess the people at the tail end figured they were going to get the leftovers so why make a mad dash. Good video.
